NEXT WEEK NA SPRING BREAK

Party time don come again for students for hia. Na dis time when young people get all de time to do all dem gbedu wey dem don dey plan tey tey. March na de month wey most skools, from primary to university dey give dem students one full week to go rest.

But most students no dey rest at all. Na party party all of dem dey do. And na for southern yankee wey students dey usually go to party. Dis one na because around dis time, de northern states still cold, and most of de party dey happen outside especially for dem beaches. So places for south like Maimi, Las Vegas, New Orleans and even some parts of Mexico dey full yanfu yanfu with undergrad students. And na dat time hotels and night clubs dey make plenty money.
And police work dey increase times ten. Drunk driving, fights, thief thief and all oda tins wey dey common with young people. Abi na de amout of hard drugs wey dey flow like wata around dat time? Drug dealers dey dey very busy during spring break. And na so police go dey chase dem up and down, day and night.

Teachers no dey even make de mistake to give homework to dem students. Dat one na waste of time. Who get time to open book during spring break? Most students no dey do homework when skool dey go on, ee come be for spring break wey dem go do skool work?

I remember during my first year for my masters program, ee just happen say de week afta spring break I go de skool clinic. And den I come notice say de place full with students. I come begin wonda why students plenty for clinic dat day. Abi everybody go house go catch sickness during spring break.

Na later I come understand wetin really happen. One of de nurse wey been dey check me come begin tell me how students dey go ova enjoy dem sef and come back skool with different kind of STD. Na wa oo! So dis students just go jolly dem sef sotey dem carry souvenir come back skool? Abi dem don ban safe sex?

Some no dey even come back until de end of March. Ee be like say for dis ones, one week no dey enough for dem to party. Dem need to spend de whole month for where dem go. And as usual most of dem go dey lie to dem papa and mama say dem dey skool where as dem dey busy dey party and gather enough krokro around dia ATM.
