As you begin read dis post, I know say you go dey wonda wetin I mean by say naija police be ya friend. Well..., I go try explain wetin I mean. As pessin wey don jam police for hia one or two times, I go tell una dis one..., if na naija police I been jam for one or two times, I for no suffer de kind tins wey I suffer for yankee police hand.
De very first tin wey you go learn for dis country wen you begin drive na say- de fia of korofo na de beginning of wisdom. Once you just see dem moto, ee go be like say na ghost wey you see. You go grab ya steering, and you go begin drive slow slow. Na so ya heart go begin beat fast fast.
I no fit imagine anytime wen I dey drive for naija, and den wen I see police for road, I go begin fia like as I dey fia for hia. My only wahala with naija police check points be de EGUNJE wey dem dey collect. Or when dem begin waste my time unnecessarily as dem dey search my car up and down. And people wey I know wey dey really fia korofo for naija na commercial drivers and all of us know why!!
For hia, as you dey drive and you come see dat dem christmas light dey shine from ya back (I mean dat dem blue and red light), na dat time wey ya heart go fly come ya mouth. I no care how much confido wey you get, anytime you see dat light, ya mind go skip small.
Den wen dem stop you, and all ya papers no complete or you been dey ova speed, dat one go cause hole for ya pocket. No abeg inside dat one, you must get ticket! And if ya mata come worse, like say you don drink, den na jail you dey go be dat. Ya moto don enter voice mail be dat (dem go tow am). Some kind tins wey fit no mean anytin for naija fit land you for serious wahala for hia. Like if you dey drive and you get any kind alcohol bottle wey dey open for ya moto, na serious offence be dat.
Make you no tink say I no like as dem police hia dey try to make dia roads to dey safe, no be wetin I mean. But if you come from anoda culture, you go begin tink say dem too dey ova do dem own for hia.
One of de times wen police stop me, de guy give me $200 ticket sake of say I pass de speed limit by one mile, I mean just one mile. You see my point?! De tin pain me well well no be small. $200 from my paycheck no be beans at all. Anoda time wen dem stop me, dem see beer cans for my boot, de tin wey save me na say de cans no been dey for inside de car ghon ghon. Na God save me for dat one.
What about de one wey every black pessin dey suffer for hia wey dem dey call DWB (driving while black)? Dat one na different mata wey I no go fit finish to talk about for dis post. I no even know where I fit start to yan about dat one. May be I go talk about am for anoda post.
Now if you don read dis my tory up to dis point, you go tink say wetin I mean na say naija police beta pass yankee police. Hmmmm...., well dat one no really be true talk oo! When ee come to emergency or security for ya area, I go tell you say police for hia dey do dem work well well. Dat one na sometin wey you go notice when you live for hia for sometime.
But my main point for dis post na say, as we hate awa naija police reach, dem take style get some good qualities for some kind area sha!!!
