HILLBILLIES and REDNECKS

If you tink say for yankee, dem no get dem own village people, den you need to tink am again. For hia, dem get two special group of people wey dem dey call hillbillies and rednecks. Dis na de onyibo village people for yankee. Most people dey see dem like dos wey no get too much sense or as people wey no allow modern life to come dem community.

Hillbillies dey live for eastern part of yankee, from around Mississippi to New York. Dem dey call dis area Appalachia. De area get plenty mountains and dis na how dem get de attachement 'hill'  for dem name hillbilly. Hillbillies dey mostly live on top or around dis mountains.

Dem dey depend on de area for everytin. Dem dey hunt, fish and use de wood around de area to build house. Dem no wan get anytin to do with modern life. And dia community na for only dem dem. No outsider dey welcome to come stay for de area. And so de popular suspicion na say dem dey marry dem own blood.

Dem like dia beer and moonshine. Infact na dem wey invent moonshine (onyibo ogogoro). Even police dey give dem dia way. De number one fia of police na say, normal arrest fit turn to shoot out. Hillbilly no dey waste anytime to protect dem territory from invaders, even police.

Dem shopping cart go full dey pour. Dis na people wey no dey work and yet dem go buy groceries wey fit be like four or five times pass de pessin wey dey work!! And yet everybody wan blame akata people as dos wey dey over depend on govment handout.

As per de redneck people, dem be dos wey dey live for southern yankee. For de very bottom states. Na people wey no wan adjust to most of de changes wey dey happen around dem. Dem no dey live for mountains like hillbillies, but dem no dey like to mix with people wey no be white or fellow onyibo wey believe in multicultural society.

Dem always like to dress like cowboys, with dem long booths, dem tight jeans, with dem big belt buckle, tight long sleeves shirt and sometimes with dem cowboy hat. Both men and women dey dress de same. And dem like to drive open back truck. Dem no dey like to live for de main town but for de outside areas, so dat dem fit get land for dem farming. Either dem dey plant one type of crop or dem dey raise cow or pig, or any oda type of farm animal. Farm life be de ultimate way of life for dis people. Even dos wey get govment work still dey do farming for part time level.

Na dem full for Klu Klux Klan. Dem believe say yankee na for whites only. Ee no dey hard dem to call black pessin Nigga. Na dem dey carry dis Gun rights tin for dem head. If you no wan any wahala from dem, make you no ever tell dem say you wan collect dem gun. Govement don try to control de number of guns wey people fit get, but dis people go always protest and even threaten to start serious riot. I don see where dis people dey protest for streets and stores with dem AK 47 for dem back, no hiding.

De name redneck start around late 1800. De rich onyibo wey no too like de poor onyibo begin call dem redneck. Dis na because as de poor ones dey work for under de sun, na so de back of dem neck go turn red. And na so de name come stay till today. But now oda onyibo don begin call dem sef redneck. Now plenty of dem dey use de name to show say dem still believe for de old values of dem people, like family, independence, man and woman marriage (dem hate de homosexual marriage wey don dey popular now) e.t.c.

And nothing dey unite hillbillies and redneck pass like dem music- country music. For de south dem get plenty radio stations wey dey only play country music. And me ma like country music well well. I just like de tory wey de music dey always yan. Na either dem dey sing about dem babe, dem gun, dem truck or dem beer.

For de time I don spend for dis country, I don meet plenty types of people. With different lifestyle and behavior. Each group dey always like to maintain dem own identity. And na de beautiful tin about dis country. Govment dey always try to give every group de right to be dem sef, so long say dem no break any law and no disturb any oda pessin.

I don get de opportunity to rub minds with some hillbillies and rednecks, and wetin I notice be say na people wey just like to live simple life and no disturb any oda pessin. Dem dey usually be de most honest people wey you fit meet. If dem like you, you go know. And if dem no like you, dem go let you know. No be like most fake people wey go always try too hard to smile for ya face and pretend like say dem like you.

And trust me, for dis country, fake people bukky yanfu yanfu. Na when you turn ya back na im you go know say fakers dey everywhere.
