TONARDO NEARLY CARRY ME GO

When pessin dey see as nature dey scatter some places with hurricane, tornado or tsunami, you no go tink say de tin fit reach ya side. I dey always imagine wetin ee be like to experience any of dis tins. But yet, I go dey pray make ee no ever happen for where I dey.

All dat one change for me last week sunday! Ee get dis tornado wey reach awa side. De kind fia wey catch my body dat night no be small. Na so my body dey shake like leaf. Sleep fly comot for my eye. Na so I dey look for window, den watch tv to hear weather update and den comot outside to see wetin dey happen.

TV been dey give news of where de tornado dey come from and places wey im don pass. Dat night I learn plenty tins about weather wey I no been know before. I learn say when tornado dey come, de temperature for outside go increase. Den rain do begin fall. And den strong wind go begin blow.

Tornado dey two types, one na when de tin dey hang for air. Dat one no dey cause any damage. If una get luck, ee go just waka pass una area. Den de oda one na when de tornado touch ground. Before ee reach my town, ee don already touch ground for de neighboring towns. Ee scatter some people house. One husband and wife die. Dem been dey try to protect dem small pikin with dem body. But tank God say de pikin survive!

De tornado scatter skool for one small town like dat. De tin blow de roof of de skool comot. Ee damage dem skool buses. And dem no come open de skool for like one full week. And as I continue to dey watch tv for update, na so I see say ee don reach awa town. I say eh..., na so I notice as my heart shift down go reach my belle, lol. My brain just dey turn like 200 miles for one second.

But I come manage to remember de tins wey I hia say you need to do when tornado come ya area. I rush go enter my bathtub and den carry one small mattress come cover my head. As I lie down dia, na so I dey check de weather app for my phone to see when de tin go pass awa area, hoping say ee no go come blow my roof comot.

Den after like 10 minutes, I notice say ee don pass awa area. I come outside to check see wetin don happen. Tank God nothing damage around my area. But I later find out say de tornado pass for some side wey nobody dey live. Some trees for dat side fall for ground. And den de tornado begin go up to enter Oklahoma state. We hear say ee scatter some people house. Infact ee get dis small town for Oklahoma wey ee destroy half of de town.

Dat night experience na sometin wey I no ever wan experience again. De kind fia wey been dey my body dat night been no get part two. All wetin my head been dey tell me na say my own don end dat night, lol.

But den ee get sometin wey I no just fit understand!! Na dis kolomental people wey dey chase tornado with dem camera. Dis guys go use moto and dem camera to dey pursue de tornado anytime wey dem see am. Dem dey call dem sef tornado chasers.

Na waoo...., some people dey find where to hide, but odas dey pursue death for yansh!
