Dat time of de year wey govment go wan make you report ya sef don come again. From January to around middle April, everybody must file dem tax papers to IRS (na de oga kpata-kpata for revenue collection for yankee).

You go tell govment how much you make for the year wey just pass. Also how many people wey you take care of, like ya pikin or papa and mama. How much awoof money wey you give as charity and how many property wey you get as at last year.

Omo..., de tin dey very complicated. You get to fill out like ten forms and for each one you go make sure say no mistake dey inside. Any mistake, dat one don turn to fraud. And IRS for hia dey worse dan state CID for Naija. For hia de fia of IRS na de begining of wisdom.

You no wan get any wahala with dem. When dem come for you, na im be say all ya savings and property don go be dat, plus prison time on top. Any time when you hia say politician, business person, musician or actor get tax problems, na IRS dey stress dem life. Dats why during dis time, everybody dey rush to file dem tax return like no man business.

Anoda tin about dis season na say most people dey get refunds from govment. If you no make plenty money, or you get plenty people wey you dey take care of like ya pikin dem, govment go pay you back some of de money wey you don pay as tax or even extra. Some people dey make reach $10,000.

People wey no like tax return season at all na rich people. Dem dey usually pay extra money back to govment. My first two years for hia, I been get small money back from govment. But now wey dem tink say I dey make pass minimum wage, dem don begin make me send dem extra money. De tin no dey funny to me at all. See me wey dey find how to get money from dem, now dem dey collect more from me.

No wonder rich people dey try too hard to see how dem fit legally hide dem money, like to put dem income for dem pikin name or give out money to charity. All dos dem so called big donation wey you dey hia for TV no be dem good mind wey dem dey use give dat money. Na business strategy for dem. Govment go write am off during tax return.

I just wish say I get some write off wey I fit do so dat I go fit get money from govment like I been dey do before. But dat one no go happen, I don check and ee tell me say I get to write dem check. Tax mata for hia na seroious tin oo..., nothing like say you fit dodge am or find backyard way to go about am.
