Dem get plenty tins wey dey happen for rodeo, like de best pessin to control horse, best pessin to stay for cow back, fastest pessin to tie goat or best to catch cow with rope. Dis sports wey I dey tell you so dey open for men and women. Dos na de people wey dem dey call cowboys and cowgirls.
I remember de first rodeo wey I attend, ee just dey like where I dey wait to see de first pessin wey go get serious wound from dis animal. You wey dey watch dey fia pass de pessin wey dey on top of dis animals. Na de babes event dey fia pessin pass. To see as women dey bounce up and down for horse or cow back go take style fia you.
Na de cow riding wey most people dey like to come watch. You go see as dis big nama go dey fling dis people like paper. I see as one come fling one guy. But de guy still hold de rope wey dey de cow neck. So him land again for de cow back, and den de cow fling am again. Na so my guy dey for air dey swing him hand and leg like say him dey swim. Him finally land for him back. Next tin na stretcher and hanlele to ambulance and forward march to hospital.
As de show come dey go on, I come begin tink of how we fit do dis same type of sports for naija. With all de cow wey we get for north, we fit arrange sometin for people to come watch. So dat people go come watch as awa aboki go climb dia cow and begin show us dia skills. Me I go pay any amount to go see dat kind show.
But I no go like to see awa women do dis kind sports sha. Reason be say awa women dey very very endowed for both frontage and backyard. Make pessin no dey confused of wetin im dey watch. You go dey dey watch de cow riding, den before you know wetin dey happen, ya eye go don move go anoda place. Na so you go begin see as bobbi go dey find space to escape. But trust awa naija men, dem go even pay extra money to go watch de female event.
